Pigtails are the best. When I saw this pigtail accommodating hat pattern at knitty (http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter06/PATTpiggle.html), I was briefly sorry I only have a boy. Then I remembered that he's Aron son, so maybe he'll grow long hair anyway.
