Don't Mess with My Sushis

Nobody better mess with my sushis -- unless nobody wants to deal with me and my cup of coffee.

And that goes double if nobody is two mean old geese at the park by the river.

And before you go defending the "poor innocent geese," I ask you to please note the behavior of a certain member of their party.

That's right, he's MOCKING ME.

Where's your...

Alright girls, it's time to show off your vast knowledge...here goes:

Where are your EARS?

And where's your HEAD?

And your TONGUE?

What about your FEET?

(Not quite, Eleni, but nice yellow onesie you've got there...)

OK, now where's your TUSHY?
(Hey! I meant YOUR tushy!)

Everybody knows...

...that Cheerios taste best when eaten while lying on one's back in the middle of the kitchen floor with one's feet in the air.

And if they don't know it, well, they certainly should.

Easter Grass

Zoe expresses a healthy suspicion regarding the nature of her Easter basket "grass."

Easter Best

Just in case you were wondering what Zoe will NOT be wearing for Easter.
*sigh*
I was so excited for dresses.
It looks like I may have to wait a bit longer.

Gravity Revolts

Recently, gravity has been misbehaving around our home.
Fortunately, Eleni doesn't seem to mind so much.

Spring Cleaning

I'm not sure who told Zoe and Eleni that Spring was here. It's certainly not obvious from the snow outside.
But both of them have recently become quite interested in cleaning. Eleni asks for paper towels to do her work, but Zoe prefers using Blankie.
I don't want to jump to conclusions or anything, but a teeny part of me can't help thinking this could bode well for the future...

Look Blankie, no hands!

Today, Zoe decided that although she certainly needed Blankie to accompany her on her sojourns around the condo, she simply did not have the capacity to hold him in either hand.

I mean, who's to say when she might need to use one of those hands?

Fortunately, she found an alternative solution.

Princess Bib

Everyone's favorite terrycloth bib has finally found it's rightful place among "items Eleni likes to wear on her head."
I think she looks rather like a princess.

Zoe's spoon

Zoe and Eleni got a toy teaset for Christmas from their cousin Gia.

Today, Zoe became very attached to one of the spoons.

Baby dolls

Jiminy Cricket!

Just a few days ago they learned to walk, and now they're already feeding their baby dolls and taking them for walks in the stroller.

Of course, sometimes they just poke their baby dolls repeatedly in the eye with the bottle -- or chew thoughtfully on the dolls' feet -- which makes me feel a little better about the speed at which they are growing up.

That said, if the truth be told, I have occasionally been known to chew on my babies' feet.

That Nifty Honk

If you're driving along in your The Little Mermaid car and you honk your horn, it plays a tinny little ditty.

And if you happen to be twins, and you both honk your horns...well then the fun really begins.

...

Imagine rush hour if everyone's horn did this.

Back in the Saddle

I am pleased to report that, after quite some time, things are getting back to normal around the Marousis household.
The girls both still have the sniffles, but they're up and about doing scoundrel things again.
What a relief it is to be chasing them again.
Zoe likes to do her rounds while pushing one of the Little Mermaid cars. I thought it would work out perfectly if she pushed Eleni, since Eleni prefers to ride. It lasted for only about five feet before Zoe decided mommy had pulled a fast one. I did get this one photo in though...
