Fight...for your right...to squeeeeaaak

Last night, Zoe was emitting an unpleasant, high-pitched squeal -- of which she has recently become quite fond -- while I was changing her diaper.

I asked her to shush.

She paused and then looked at me with big, soulful eyes and said, "But mommy, I want to squeak."
