Trainspotting

Zoe is obsessed with trains.

Fortunately, we can see the "El" from our living room in two key locations. Since discovering this, Zoe will stop to peer out the window occasionally to see if she can spot one, upon which she loudly announces "Traaiiin" (resulting in "Stand by Me" flashbacks multiple times daily).

Sometimes she climbs up on her little lounge chair and stands there waiting quietly for a train to happen by.

But when Pappoo and Yiayia (Kostas' dad & mom) arrived a couple days ago, things got even better.

Pappoo is perfectly happy to encourage Zoe's latest hobby. He conveniently spends much of his time in the chair by the window, which puts him in the perfect location to sit and watch for trains so that Zoe can go ahead and take care of other business (emptying and refilling the Lego box for example) knowing that he willalert her to the next sighting so she can climb up on his lap to watch the train pass by.

This picture was taken early Sunday morning while the team together awaited their next sighting. Everyone should have a Pappoo to help them keep an eye out for trains.
