Holding your own food, and other miracles
Now I've always taken being able to hold my own food for granted.
Not anymore.
I have recently watched countless episodes in which Eleni or Zoe will eye a piece of cereal, pick it up, and then look at me desperately as if to say "But I want the cereal in my MOUTH, not my HAND. How on earth will this cereal get into my MOUTH, all-knowing large person?"
Zoe has in fact put three pieces of cereal into her mouth all by herself. That happened last week, however, and the magical technique seems to have been forgotten much in the same way that Eleni forgot how to roll over for three months.
And so teething biscuits are quite a relief for both of us, because their size makes them easy targets.
